We collect the following information when you use our App:

Email Address: Collected when you create an account or contact us.

User Content: Information you choose to store in the App, including notes, plant details, entries, images, and other content you upload.

Usage Data: Information about how you interact with the App, including access times, feature usage, device type, app version, and diagnostic information. This does not include the private content of your notes or images.

Subscription Information: If you purchase GrowNotes Pro through the Apple App Store, payment processing is handled by Apple. We do not collect or store your full payment card details. We may receive information from Apple regarding your subscription status, purchase date, expiration date, and subscription tier.

Reminder and Notification Data: If you enable reminders or push notifications, we collect and store the scheduling and preference information necessary to deliver those notifications.

AI Feature Data: If you use AI-powered features (such as plant name suggestions or growing tips), the content you submit for AI processing may be transmitted to third-party AI service providers solely for the purpose of generating a response.

2. Use of Your Information

We use the collected information to:

Provide, operate, and maintain the App
Store and sync your content
Provide Pro subscription features
Send reminders and notifications you enable
Generate AI-powered responses when requested
Improve App functionality and performance

Your data is encrypted and stored securely using Google Cloud services.

We use third-party service providers to operate the App, which may include:

Apple App Store for subscription processing

We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

4. Data Retention

We retain your account information and content for as long as your account remains active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required for legal, security, backup, or compliance purposes.

5. Data Deletion

You have complete control over your data. Plants and entries can be deleted at any time. To delete a plant, open the plant’s page, tap on the three dots ··· - Edit Plant and select Delete Plant. To delete an entry, open the entry and scroll to the bottom and select delete entry.

You can Delete your entire account including all your data from the Delete Account button in the app's settings

6. International Users

If you access the App from outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate. By using the App, you consent to this transfer.

7. Children's Privacy

Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13, we will take steps to delete such information from our files as soon as possible.
